Android

I started playing with Android 1.x in the spring of 2008 while working on my MS thesis at American University.  At the time I was working on a project to run the BOINC client on a mobile device to demonstrate the feasibility of mobile devices as grid computing resources.  My partner for this project was my thesis advisor, Dr. Michael Black of American University.  Our work used a virtual machine written in python, and we presented it and it was published as a conference paper at IEEE Grid 2009 in Banff, Canada.  Since then I have continued to toy around with Android and various application concepts, as I enjoy the mobile application arena and the Android platform in particular.
